**UPDATE, 2/27/2013: The Mayor has had an out-of-town conflict pop up that will prevent him from being at our originally-scheduled groundbreaking. To accommodate his schedule, we’re moving Sylvan Thirty’s groundbreaking event to Wednesday, March 20th at 10:30 a.m. The construction team will start working on the site prior to that, so this is not expected to have any significant impact on our timeline. **Great news — We’ve set the date for our official groundbreaking! Please mark your calendar for Friday, March 8th at 10:30 a.m.
We’re still working out the specifics for the event. We’ve confirmed that Mayor Rawlings and City Councilwoman Monica Alonzo will be there, along with many others who’ve helped us get to this point.
The event is open to the public, so feel free to join in the celebration. You’re also welcome to invite your friends, families and neighbors to attend.
More details to follow as we have them. Be sure to sign up for our email updates to receive the official invite (just enter your email address in the form at the top right of this page). And you can follow us on Facebook and Twitter for updates too.
We couldn’t be more excited to get started! Thank you for your support as we get the dirt moving.
